About Us
Mr. Kenny Hall was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia. His father a band director in their local school system started Mr. Hall's musical career in his 3rd grade year where he started playng the Trumpet. Mr. Hall feels very fortunate to have been a part of a really fine Junior High (Richards Jr. High School) and High School (Hardaway High School) Band programs.
Mr. Hall attended Columbus State University majoring in music and then finished at Auburn University in August of 1985. He began his teaching career at Lee-Scott Academy. He also served as Director at Notasulga High School, Jemison, Verbena, Chilton County, Greenville Middle, and currently Prattville Junior High School.
Mr. Hall is currently in his 20th year of teaching. He lives in Verbena with his wife (Donna) and two daughters (Laura and Mary Beth).

Chris King has been band director at Prattville Junior High in Prattville, AL since 2004. As part of his duties, he is on staff with the Pride of Prattville Marching Band. Chris has experience teaching music or band to students in the 1st- 12th grade. Before coming to Prattville Junior High, he served as General Music Teacher at Daniel Pratt Elementary in Prattville, AL; Director of Bands at Wetumpka High School & Junior High in Wetumpka, AL; Director of Bands at Chilton County High School & Adair Junior High in Clanton, AL
Chris is a 1998 graduate from Auburn University where he earned a Bachelors of Music Education degree. While at Auburn University, he served as trumpet section leader & played in the Trumpet Ensemble, Latin Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band. He also was a member of the Auburn University Concert Choir & Men’s Ensemble.
In addition to his band experience, Chris marched with the Cadets of Bergen County Drum & Bugle Corps in 1988, 1991, 1992, & 1993 when the Cadets won the DCI championship in Jackson, MS. He was asked to come back & serve on the visual staff in 1995.
Chris is a member of Alabama Bandmasters Association, MENC (Music Educators National Conference), and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He is an active member of Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church in Montgomery, AL. His proudest accomplishment is being Daddy to his 3 daughters, Ashtyn Grace (7), Emma Claire (4), and Audrey Kate born in October 2006. He married Kim (Cooper) King in 1998. The Kings reside in Prattville, AL.
