Ice Cream Social Monday, August 16 7pm in Gym
We need baked goods provided by parents.  If you could get them made on Sunday, send them to school with your student Monday morning and have them left in the band room, Mike Proper will handle it from there.  We will need folks to help get things set up in the gym beginning around 6 p.m.

Here is the schedule for this event:
6:00                 Percussion Call Time (band t-shirt, khaki shorts, tennis shoes) – Band Room
6:30                 Full Band Call Time (band t-shirt, khaki shorts, tennis shoes) – Outside Gym
6:55                 Percussion Warm Up (audience gets seated)

It will start promptly at 7 p.m.  We are aiming for ice cream and baked goods to be served somewhere around 7:45

There is an admission for non-band folks of $1 if you wish to attend.  This is going to include Jr Hi football players too.

Special Rehearsal at Stadium Thursday August 26th (the night before the opening game) we will have a rehearsal from 5-7pm at Stanley Jenson instead of having our after school practice at the school

Discount Cards will be given out Saturday morning, July 24 from 9-12. Remember, these must be paid for in advance. We do ask that you purchase 20 cards, $100 worth, and 100% of this amount goes towards your child’s fair share amount. If you can sell more than the initial 20, you are welcome to purchase those too.

There will be sheets with time slots available to go to different vendors and sell the discount cards that day. It is first come, first serve with those time slots.

YOU MUST SIGN UP. There will be 2-3 (or more) at each location at the same time. Please be courteous to your fellow band members and not block them from sales. We sell them for $5 each. People can generally have their money back with two uses of the card.

Uniform Payments
If you have already made your uniform rental payment, you will not need to bring a check for that; we will have a listing of who has already paid for this year.

If you haven’t paid, and you are writing a check, please make one check out to PHS for $75. Please specify in the memo line your child’s name and uniform rental.

Fair Share Payment
If you need to pay the first $50 of your fair share, you make this check to PHS Band Boosters, specify your child’s name and fair share in the memo line.

Instrument Rental
If you owe for an instrument rental, then you may add this to fair share check. As an example, you owe $50 for the fair share, $50 instrument rental, then make the check out to PHS Band Boosters for $100, state your child’s name, fair share/instrument rental.

You DO NOT have to write a separate check for anything other than uniform rental.

The first $50 of fair share has to be paid before full band camp which begins on July 26th.

Shoes
If your child needs shoes, we will be taking those orders Friday, July 16. I believe they are $35. That can be added to any above-mentioned amounts to be paid and paid to the boosters.

I could still use some parental help too – This effort really takes a number of folks for the different jobs so we can get folks in and out in a timely way. If we only have one person doing a job, it can cause long lines.
