Wind Symphony

Wind Symphony, the top concert ensemble at Prattville High School, was created in 2004. The Wind Symphony generally plays music on a grade V and VI level, and consistently places many students in the Alabama All-State Bands.

Symphonic Band

Symphonic Band is the second concert ensemble at PHS and generally plays grade IV music.  Several students in the Symphonic Band place in the Alabama All-State Bands.

Concert Band

Concert Band is the third concert ensemble at PHS and generally plays grade III music.

Jazz Band

Jazz Band meets during and after school.  Membership will be at the discretion of the band directors.

Percussion Ensemble

Percussion Ensemble is made up of all of the percussion students in the PHS bands. Including working on marching and concert band literature, this group focuses on percussion ensemble literature as well. Orchestral percussion technique is a primary focus where students will learn proper technique on all of the percussive instruments.
